Sandra Barerra was born and raised in Mexico, but she eventually moved to Charlotte, NC to be close to her family. Sandra attended Central Piedmont Community College where she received her Occupational Therapy Assistant degree. She has always wanted to work in the medical field to help others. She wishes to impact kids by inspiring their success and assisting them to reach their goals. Sandra has experience with diagnoses such as Autism, Down’s syndrome, developmental delay, and ADHD. She also has experience in working with the geriatric population in which she addresses disorders such as dementia, arthritis, Parkinson’s, and stroke. In her free time, she likes to spend time with friends and family, go hiking and exploring around Charlotte. Sandra enjoys spending time with her pets; a bird and a Holland lop bunny.
